Ø 60mm Large-Area Mirror Surface Machining
Core Technology of Large-Area Mirror Surface Machining
NEUAR CNC Die-Sinker EDM achieves mirror surface machining over a Ø60 mm area through precise discharge control and optimized machining parameters. The process maintains consistent surface quality across the machining area, demonstrating NEUAR's capability in large-area mirror finishing for precision mold applications.
Machining Case Study
Eliminating the Need for Polishing
The built-in High Quality Mirror Circuit (HQM2) expands the machinable surface area for fine finishing, enabling a mirror surface to be achieved directly through EDM machining. By optimizing discharge conditions, the process eliminates the need for post-polishing, allowing the workpiece to be used immediately after machining.
From fine surface details to large-area mirror finishing, this technology delivers the required surface quality through EDM machining, reducing post-processing and supporting efficient mold production.
Excellent Mirror Quality
The machined surface features a mirror-like appearance with high reflectivity and a uniform finish across the entire area. Fine surface details are clearly reproduced, resulting in a consistent finish with no visible discharge marks.
