Consistent Mirror Quality Across Multiple Cavities
Core Technology of High-Precision Mirror Finishing
Neuar's advanced mirror EDM technology, equipped with the Low-Wear Circuit (LW2), enables continuous machining of four cavities using only three electrodes while maintaining sharp edges, clearly defined corners, and a uniform surface finish.
Conventional mirror EDM machining can suffer from excessive electrode wear and uneven surface textures, including wave-like marks. These issues often require additional electrodes and finishing operations. The LW2 circuit minimizes electrode wear and helps maintain consistent machining quality, reducing the need for additional electrode changes and fine-finishing work.

Automatic Cavity Depth Compensation
After 18 hours and 40 minutes of continuous machining and electrode exchanges, the dimensional deviation of each cavity can still be maintained within 3 µm.With a simple command, the machining depth can be quickly compensated for each cavity to account for electrode wear. This helps maintain consistent cavity depths within the required tolerance, improving dimensional accuracy and machining consistency across multiple cavities.
